STUDY OF THE FLOW OF AN INCOMPRESSIBLE FLUID IN A PIPE
Abstract
IN THE PRESENT WORK WE STUDY THE FLOW OF A VISIOUS INCOMPRESSIBLE FLUID IN A CURVED ANNULAR PIPE. MORE SPECIFICALLY WE ARE CONCERNED THE EXPONENTIALLY DECAYING FLOW AND THE EFFECT OF THE DEAN NUMBER AND OF THE RADIUS RATIO ON THE STEADY FLOW. THE EQUATIONS OF MOTION ARE SOLVED ANALYTICALLY AND NUMERICALLY.
