INVESTIGATION OF ELECTRIC DISCHARGES IN PULSED GAS LASERS
Abstract
MODELIZATION OF THE INDUCTANCE OF AN ARC DISCHARGE WHO TAKES PLACE IN A SPARK- GAP. WE CONSIDER THAT THE CURRENT DISTRIBUTION IN THE DISCHARGE CHANNEL IS GAUSSIAN. EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF THE INDUCTANCE SHOWS THAT THE VALUE OF THE INDUCTANCE OF THE ARC DISCHARGE DEPENTS ON THE RADIUS OF THE ARC. MODELIZATION OF THE INDUCTANCE OF THE DISCHARGE IN A LASER TUBE. THE THEOREDICAL RESULTS AGREE WITH EXPERIMENTAL THAT COULD BE FOUND IN BIBLIOGRAPHY. WE FOUND THAT THE INDUCTANCE DEPENDS ON THE THICKNESS OF THE DISCHARGE IN A LASER TUBE.
