Relativistic classical and quantum cosmology

Abstract

THE SYMMETRIES OF THE EINSTEIN EQUATIONS FOR THE SPATIALLY HOMOGENEOUS SPACETIMES ARE INVESTIGATED.SPECIFIC FORMS OF TIME-DEPENDEΝTE AUTOMORPHISM INDUCING DIFFEOMORPHISMS KEEPING THE MANIFEST SPATIAL HOMOGENEITY ARE FOUND. THE MOST GENERAL NON DIAGONAL NEW EXACT SOLUTIONS FOR THE VACUUM BIANCHI TYPE II AND V COSMOLOGIES ARE INTRODUCED. IT IS PROVED THAT THE DIAGONAL SOLUTIONS DO NOT ALWAYS EXHAUST THE FULL SPACE OF SOLUTIONS,WITH THE PRESENCE OF A PERFECT FLUID WITH LINEAR EQUATION OF STATE AND COSMOLOGICAL CONSTANT THE GENERAL (NON DIAGONAL)SOLUTION OF TYPE V IS FOUND. FOR THE REALISTIC CASE OF DUST THE RESTRICTIONS SUPPLIED BY CBR ARE INVESTIGATED.FOLLOWING THE DIRAC QUANTIZATION PROGRAMME WITH THE PROMOTION OF ALL THE CLASSICAL CONSTRAINTS INTO OPERATORS AND ALLOWING ALL THE SIX SCALE FACTORS OF THE METRIC AT THE QUANTUM LEVEL THE FULL WAVEFUNCTIONS OF TYPES II AND V ARE FOUND.
