STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF VOLTAMMETRIC METHODS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF BIOELEMENTS (COPPER-MOLYBDENUM)

Abstract

IN THE PRESENT WORK AN ORIGINAL VOLTAMMETRIC METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF TETRATHIOMOLYBDATES, AN ANTIDOTE IN ACUTE INTOXICATION BY COPPER (II) AND OTHER TOXIC METAL IONS, IS DEVELOPED. THE DETECTION LIMIT IS 20 MG/1 AND CAN BE LOWERED UP TO 1MG/1 AFTER PRECONCENTRATION ON THE HANGING MERCURY DROP ELECTRODE,THE RELATIVE STANDARD DEVIATION IS LESS THAN 4%. THE METHOD IS APPLIED TO SPIKED WITH TETRATHIOMOLYBDATES SHEEP BLOOD PLASMA. FURTHERMORE ANOTHER ORIGINAL VOLTAMMETRIC METHOD FOR THE SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF MOS_4^2- AND MOO_4^2- IS DEVELOPED. THE LIMIT OF DETECTION IS 0.59 MG/1 MO FOR MOS_4^2- AND 1.84 MG/1 MO FOR MOO_4 ^2-. THE R.S.D. AT CONCENTRATION LEVEL OF 20 NG/ML IS 4.7%FOR MOO_4^2- AND 3,6% FOR MOS_4^2- . THE METHOD IS APPLIED TO SPIKED, WITH TETRATHIOMOLYBDATES AND MOLYBDATES, SHEEP BLOOD PLASMA.
