THE APPLIANCE OF TWO INTRAMEDULLARY ENDER'S NAILS IN TIBIAL FRACTURES
Abstract
WE USED TWO ENDR'S NAILS IN TIBIAL FRACTURES IN 57 PATIENTS WITH 59 FRACTURES. WE CREATED TEN EXPERIMENTAL MODELS AND TESTED THE METHOD IN NAT.TECHN. UNIVERSITY, ATHENS. THE AVERAGE HEALING TIME WAS 3,13 MONTHS WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS IN 48 FRACTURES. VERY GOOD RESULTS IN 6, WITH GOOD IN 4 AND WITH POOR IN 1. THE STUDY CONSISTS OF 4 PARTS. 1ST HISTORY REVIEW, ANATOMY, BLOOD SUPPLY, UNION, 2ND ENDER'S NAILS AND STRENGTH. 3RD PREPARATION, INDICATIONS AND TECHNIQUES WITH ITS COMPLICATIONS. 4TH ANALYTIC PRESENTATION OF THE CASES-DISCUSSION.
